The All Ireland Industrial Conference at Dublin passed a- resolution that in any treaty with Great Britain full fiscal freedom was fundamental and essential. Some speeches were strongly protectionist. COMMON# INTERESTED. LONDON, Oct, 18. in the House of Commons, Air Butcher urged the need for discussing the Irish question. He said that the matters dealing with the observance of the truce, drilling Sinn Feiners, and the holding of the Irish Republican Courts ought to be debated. Air Chamberlain gave the assurance that a day- would be given for a discussion on Irish affairs. CURZOX’S REPLY. LONDON, Oct. 19 Regarding the ffrish Conference, Lord Curzon, on behalf of the Govern, meat made! a statement in the House of Lords. T.ord Curzon stated that'as noon as as practicable, a statement would be submitted to both Houses. He paid a tribute to the scrupulous reticence practiced bv both sides of the Conference.
