The total value of the exports ol produce from the Dominion for the twelve months ended' August M Ist., as reported hv'the Government .Statistician, was C 18,981,7(13, or £2.190,001) better than for the corresponding twelve months of 1919-20. The value of exports of New /calami produce "for eight months ended August 31 last was £33.918.128 or £3,389,000 Hotter than for the eight months ended August 31, 1920 The relation between all imports for twelve months ended August 31 is as follows:—Exports £50.038.958; imports £35.510,818, and in the first eight months of 1921, £32,070.700 In August. 1920, they totalled £0.107.910. and in August 1921, £2,G23, >,L. SALE OF PEDIGREE CATTLE. NEW PLYMOUTH. Oct. o. 'flic annual sale of pedigrefi hulls, the property of North Taranaki breeders, was held yesterday and to-day. On the first day eighty-seven lots brought just under 5000 guineas, ail average of £59 5s per head. The top price was for a yearling hull, \ iola’s Golden Noble. 220 gs. To-day thirty lots brought 1880 s. the top price being 130 gs. To-day. sixteen disposed of on liehalf of Mr CoHlter, of Blenheim, brought. 1280 gs. The highest price was 100 gs for a cow.
