The route for the late Mr Slotev’s funeral was from tile Anglican Cathedral to the Railway Station, and for several hours before the cortege moved it was lined with dense crowds. After an impressive cereihony at the Cathedral conducted by tha Derm and !• mate, of Sydney, a procession which was headed a by Fire Rrigade Rand and 3000 inarching unionists, left for the Field of Mars Cemetery. At the Railway Station, special trains were waiting for those marching. The Cathedral, where the hotly lay in state was visited liv many thousands, and it was one of the largest and most representative funerals held ill the State. Four motor cars were necessary for the floral tributes. The members of the Federal Labour Party were absent.
