Colonial* butter is tortslow indeed, and sales are realising only a limit Is more than the G'overnmeiit issue prices given last week, viz., New Zealand 220. Australian 2ioos and Argentine 180 per cwt. Australian free is quoted atjlGOs to 194 s per cwt. CHEESE. The market shows no improvement, and prices are very irregular. T'nji ■ has very little inquiry. Finest formers’ is quoted at 155 s to ICOs per cwt; Canadian, white 104 s to 110 s per cwt, coloured 102, to 100 s per cwt.; New Zealand, 102 s to 100 s per cwt. CASEIN. Prices for French rennet have' advanced to £44 and £O4 per ton. Argentine luetic is £SO per ton. British rennet, £OO per ton. HEMP. The Manila market is quiet hut steady, and quotations are unchanged.
