Early this month a notification was made by the Board of Trade to merchants concerned that limited quantities of fowl wheat would he allowed importation into the Dominion, nrovided that certain conditions were conformed tc The hoard has considered the applications received, and has granted to most of the leading firms in tie- Dominion permits to import limited quantities. The hoard Has now decided that no imore permits will he recommended for the present.
