Hokitika Tennis Club.

annual meeting of members was icld in tile Education Board Rooms on ■'riday evening Sept. 23rd. at S p.m., Mr R. F. Perhain, (President), being in the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting acre read and confirmed and the annul report and balance sheet adopted.

Votes oS thanks were passed to Mr I‘erham for timber enabling repairs tele effected to fences, to Air Perhain and Dr Tcichelmann for donations towards the finances of the Club, and to the ladies for the splendid work cior.e IV them during the past season. It was, stated that the new court which is at .present being laid down would he available for play early in the eason.

The following new members were elected : —Mesdames Butler, D. Died-l-ichs, Staveley. Morris. Preston, T'rquliart, Misses M. Mclntosh, Paly,'f.rqithnrt (2). Messrs Farrar, F. J. Perham, Langford, Morris, D. Diedichs and Irvino.

The election of officers for the ensuing season resulted as follows: 1 resident Mr 15. F. Perliam, Vice I’-fsi-dents : Dr Teklielnmnn and Mr McCnsk ill; Secretary: Miss Moore.
