Mr John Xewburli. an old resident of Kmnaka passed peacefully away in the Grey River Hospital on Saturday last, at the ripe old age of 83 years.

Wo regret to record the death of an old and highly respected resident of the Kanieri Road in the person of Mrs Main, wife of Mr James Main, which took place yesterday. Deceased bad been ailing for a considerable time past. Mr A. W. Fpiolin. of Rn-s who lias been experimenting in the growth of lueernc. is well satisfied with his trials which have ln'eti carried out actually in less favourable localities.
