The Railway Department notify ns that new regulations have been made with reference to the mode of ordering trucks from tlio West Coast for Canterbury. In future the Railway Authorities on the Coast will arrange not only for trucks to load for Otira, hut also for trucks to load from Arthur's Pass to Addington. Orders for Crocks from Arthur’s Pass to Addington will not be accepted at the Christchurch Office. If so desired, provided we have ample notice, we can arrange to have all stock unloaded at Otira and driven wver the hill and retrucked at Arthur’s Pass for a nominal charge. Upon arrival of the stock at Addington Yards the same will be promptly untruckod by our expert drovers and judiciously attended to and drafted.
