ABSENTEES. The absentees will include lion Anderson, .Minister for Labour, who is still in hospital, and Hon Myers who sull'ercd a slight accident in Auckland recently. Mr Myers has not occupied his seat in the House since Mr AVilford became leader of the Liberal Party, hut there need not he any significance in the fact that he made n prolonged visit to England in 1020. HOSTILE AMENDMENTS. It is rumoured in the Lobby that both Mr AVilford and Alt Holland are planning to move an amendment to the Addross-in-Keply. The leader ol the Labour Party wants a chance to talk about wages and the Arbitration Court. He has gut more to say about indentured labour also, hut may keep that until the Samoan Government Hill comes down later in the session. t lIKTIIK.NCHMKNT. 1 The question of retrenchment in the Public Service will he helore the House after Air .Massey's icturn.
