Deled ive-Sergean.t Cummings, who was the last witness, gave the result of the police investigations. Witness said that in llis opinion injuries were inflicted oil the spot where the body was found. r |'he Coroner commented on the unsatisfactory nature ol soma, ot the evidence, which, unfortunately, did ,H.t lead to any very definite conclusion. His duty was to find when, where and by what means deceased came by his death, and he recorded a formal verdict.
