POLLARki’S PICTURES. •‘.M ACINTK J.N LOA’E,” TO-NIGHT. At the J’rince-'S Theatre to-night .\l ncixte, 1110 strong man who made Midi a line showing in the great Italian picture, 'T'ahiriawill lie seen in Ids latest ull’oring entitled ".Maeisle in 1.0ve.” "Maeisle in Love” is a picture that in many way- departs from the beaten track in picture production. Maeisle is shown as a member of a picture producing company, and the plot is woven round the life of tin' studios and the actors themselves. As in “Cahiria” and "Macisle” the mighty star’s two previous world-beaters, feats of superhuman strength with which he is endowed, form part of the daily work of Maciste. In one scene for example he gets six full grown men and calmly walks away with them over his shoulder, like so many hams in a sack. Maciste shows that in matters of the heart his size and stiength do not present him being as susceptible to feminine charms as the normally developed male being. On Thursday one of Ihe most, popular of screen actors, Mitchell Lewis, who will he remembered for his line work in the part of I’oleon ol "The Harrier,” will he seen in his latest picture of the greiwl north-west. ".Jacques of the Silver North.” Mitt-hell Lewis latest Select picture, ".Jacques of the Silver North,” to he screened at the Princess Theatre, was filmed in the northern part of Calitornia. well within the picturesque snow country, which forms an admirable sotting for this latest story of the rugged type which has characterised this star’s most recent successful work, "dacques ol the Silver .North” is a delightfully thrilling story of love ami friendship ami the untiling, ovoutlul fives ol the people of the north country. I* ritzi Unmet te plays the lead opposite Mitchell Lewis, ami a cast of universal strength supports them.
