Stuart and Chapman Ltd., will shortly be extending their sawmill tramway south of the Waitaha river. This enterprise will involve a work of considerable magnitude. A substantial bridge will require to be built across the main Waitaha river, and the line, which will he built to carry a locomotive and heavy traffic, will extend for about 280 chains further south.
