A shocking accident occurred on the Millerton incline on Tuesday, whereby a school boy, named T.en Davis, aged seven years, who was playing in the vicinity of the trucks, fell, and four of the waggons passed over him. The sufferer was immediately attended to at the Westport Hospital, where it was > found that one leg was broken in two places and one hand badly crushed.
