A meeting of the sjub-Unh.n was held „„ Wednesday evening at » < 11 K Present- Messrs F. McGregor ( -esdend), A. Dowell. Askew- Cul Harker. Oillooly. Adams. M ells, H- and Soebcck. and the Secretary. The minutes of prewious meeting were read and confirmed. Kiwi .Junior protested against lleslan and W. O’Brien as having played two senior matches and therefore should be unable to plav as juniors. In the case of lleslan being a junior the protest against him was dismissed ami in the ease of W. O. B>mn. it was liehl over to make eiiqiiirie*. Resolved to hold the seven-a-sidc tournament oil Saturday l.tli. MeM.innaway and M.miiv. two members of the Diggers Club were before the Union on a complaint of having insulted the President of the Union at a recent public gathering. Both men appeared and their evidence was take, down. The Union thoroughly consideied the cases. The members complain--0(1 of did lint offer any apology. The Union unanimously resolved to suspend both members for a period "< V2 months to take ('fleet from Kept. 14th. till the end of next playing season. the disqualification to lie sent on to AVC.R.U. for official confirmation. Ml trophies will l>e presented at a. public gathering, the union desiring that the children as well as the grownups should have a chance to witness the presentation. All, cups, banner, and medals will he presented atr tinsame time. _____
