MeM.innaway and M.miiv. two members of the Diggers Club were before the Union on a complaint of having insulted the President of the Union at a recent public gathering. Both men appeared and their evidence was take, down. The Union thoroughly consideied the cases. The members complain--0(1 of did lint offer any apology. The Union unanimously resolved to suspend both members for a period "< V2 months to take ('fleet from Kept. 14th. till the end of next playing season. the disqualification to lie sent on to AVC.R.U. for official confirmation. Ml trophies will l>e presented at a. public gathering, the union desiring that the children as well as the grownups should have a chance to witness the presentation.
