LITTLE WANGANUI BRIDGE.
TENDER APPROVED. VERY PLEASING NEWS. While in South Westland Mr T. E. V. Seddon, M.P., learned that there was some, suggestion of the Government! not accepting a tender for Little Wanganui Bridge. A telegram was sent at once from Okarito, and to-day the Hon J. fl. Coates, Minister of I’iiblic Works, sent Mr Seddon thc very pleasing news that the tender of Mr J. Wall of Westport, had been approved for acceptance by the Tenders Board. The news will ho very gratifying to all interested in the advancement of South Westland. It will lie, certainly a, great boon when the crossing which so often holds up traffic, is safely bridged. Tho action of the Government in this matter will lie very highly approved by the people of Westland generally.
