Childs rode the winner, wilieh like Coligula. the 1920 winner, is by Tetraeli. The small field was due to th,' belief that the race was a , ertaintv for Bullock's mount, Craig an Ernn. Franklin and Westward-Ho entered the straight abreast, but I’olemareh challenged :l furlong from home, stayed best and won by a- length and a half three lengths between second and third. Craig an Eran was a close fourth.
