ARTICLE TEN. GENEVA, Sept. 3. The League of Nations’ Amendments Commission have discussed Canada’s proposal to eliminate from the Covenant Article Ten. The supporters of its suppression contended that this Article duplicates Articles Sixteen and Seventeen. A majority of the Commission opposed this view. The French delegate urged that changes in the Covenant should only lie made in collaboration with the United States. Finally, a sub-Commission was deI „ted to report on the interpretation of the Clause.
