The general’s only visible injury aftethe accident was a bruise on the he'd He was in good spirits and continued the journey to Strasbourg, where he ■was to lecture, by train. He fainted during the lecture however. Tt was found that he had look -n three ribs and that the splinters if lione had touched the heart. He was brought hack to Pugs where his death occurred tins morning
