AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. AIRSHIP DISASTER. LONDON, Aug. 29. Commander Maitland's body was found with the hand still on the control rope. He died like a hero trying to save his ship. He was shockingly injured, bis clothes blown off the lower limbs. The forepart of the airship lias been raised. AFTER THE DISASTER. (Received This Day at 1.5 p.m.) - LONDON, Aug. 30. A memorial service will be held in Westminster Abbey on the 7th in connection with R. 38 disaster. The American officers and men will Ik* transported from Hull accompanied hv an air force escort, and embarked with all honours at Plymouth on a British man-of-war, which conveys them to America.
