CONSTABLE MURDERED
SHOT OKAI) AT Tf.MA.IiU. | MY fKI.EdItAIMI )*Elt PRESS ASSOCIATION] TIMAIIU, Aug. 27. Karly this morning, Constable Oorgaa was shot dead while executing his duty. It appears that at l.;IO, Co list allies Christopher aml Oorgan, while on duty in Stafford Street, discovered that the premises of T. and .J. Thomson were being burglared. The latter decided to watch the premises while the former went for tne proprietor. Oorgan evideiitly went into the right-of-way at the hack of the shop, for when Christopher returned he found him lying in the hack yard having been shot. Tin* victim died within five minutes. Constable Christopher did not see the murderer and so far there is no trace of the murderer. otam firm r n r a
