DAIL EIREANNN. 'Received This Day at 10.15 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 26 At the meeting of the Dail Eireann Mr De Valera was re-elected President of the Irish Republic. De Valera in thanking members, said he felt like a toy amongst boys, and hoped they would win the cause, which is as near heaven as hoys arc. l)e Valera then lead «lie reply to the British proposals declaring “It is the bedrock of the nation’s existence. Upon that rock we mean to stand.” Michael t’ollins proposition to raise a loan of twenty millions in America and half a million iif Ireland, was carried. All members of the Cabinet were reelected.
