ROSS NEWS.

(Our own correspondent.) I ft is* with regret I have to record the death of Keith, the infant son of Miami Mrs Brice of the Ross Railway station, which took place (Friday) about mid-day. The little fellow who was close on three years of age was playing about on Thursday and appeared to be in his usual health with the exception of a cold, but about midnight he developed alarming symptoms and the doctor was called from Hokitika but the little boy gradually become worse and passed away from pneumonia as above stated. Mr and Mrs Brice have the sincere sympathy of all their friends on their sad bereavement. The funeral takes place on Sunday at 2.30 n.m.
