The Railway Department notify us that new regulations have been made with reference to the mode of ordering trucks from the West Coast' for Canterbury. In future the Railway Authorities on the Coast will arrange not only for trucks to load for Otira, but also for trucks to load from Arthur’s Pass to Addington. Orders for trucks from Arthur’s Pass to Addington will not be accepted at. the Christchurch Office. If so desired, provided we have am pie notice, we can arrange to have all stock unloaded at Otira and driven over the hill and retrucked at Arthur’s Pass for a nominal charge. Upon arrival of the stock at Addington Yards the same will be promptly untrucked by our expert drovers and judiciously attended to and drafted.
