- - Mrs Mary Armur, one of the finest speakers in America, has been invited to come to New Zealand to speak in the interests of prohibition for three months before the next poll. In reference to the Waikato-West Coast light railway proposals, the ropresentative ol the Australian Company which has undertaken to finance the' work states that it has been arranged to have the money available >' October, hy which time it is hoped to have everything in train locally ready for the signing of the contract. The representative estimates (says t „ “Waikato Times” that the work will mean the circulation ol fully £1.000,000 in the district.
