Gomrers that he cordially believes Labour should b 0 represented in connection with the Armament Conference as far as possible, but the delegates will be chosen from other quality than group representation. No decision has yet been- reached as to whether women shall sit in the Conference. The United States is now considering, with "other Governments, tin question of the size of the various delegations. TOKIO, August 23. The newspaper “Asaliia Shimbun” states the Japanese delegation to the Washington Disarmament Conference will consist of Uehida, Katt> and Isliii. PARIS, August 23. Tlie “Journal Des Debats” says “The Washington Conference seems likely to degenerate into a meeting of Prime Alinisters. M. Brinnd has set the example and Air Lloyd George and Mr Hara is likely to follow suit.
