A sensation has been caused through the publication in Kansas city newspapers of Samuel Harris’ eoirfesife that lie had been jiired to murder Mrs Stillman, whose husband was formerly President of the National City Bank of New York and who recently failed to obtain a divorce. Harris said a rich New Yorker promised five thousand sterling upon her death, advancing a substantial sum for prelimnary expenses Harris said the plan was frustrated through confederates becoming involv ed in a minor crime.
