Some special lea tores of the Hibernian Hit 11 to-night: A good orchestra of four, violin, piano, and piccolo, a most artistic and attractive prograjii line, a good supper methodically served, and only a small charge for admission.— Advt. - At the annual meeting of the West Coast Bowling Association held at Greymouth on Thursday evening, Mr J. Ring was re-elected president. The annual bowling tournament was fixed to l>e held at Hokitika, on February 14th., 15th., 16th. A report was submitted to the last meeting of the Coromandel County Council concerning the results of prospecting being carried out by Mr W. 11. Madill between Gum town and T;irun. Ho claimed to have found '-onegood silver ore atul also stated that le had discovered a gold-bearing leader, samples from which gave high assay values. At present he was driving an ' adit level to cut the lender at a depth. Two prospectors at work in the Mahakirau district were,also reported to be meeting with encouraging results.
