C 1 to 5s : "tiers •in, i; £:! 1 Is. Compelilion was very apathetic. Sunv sheep.-- Another large yarding and all classes of sheep were easier and the general tone of the market was depressed. Best sound mouth ,-wes Ms to Ids; others from 8s to 12s; l.cst wethers. 12s ,o 15s; best hoggets - - to IDs; others from os Ml to Mutton. —Another very large yarding and the sale continued till well alter dark on top of the previous heavy yarding. There were far too many for Ini tellers requirements. The sale opened. decidedly easier, hut soon got worse an 1 eventually collapsed, and was one o' the worst sales seen in tor n uy years. Towards the end, sheep were practically unsaleable, ami, inanv were withdrawn. Prices were anything from ds to (is down from lasi sale. Prime wethers, los lid to 18s fid ; ‘ extra good IPs to 22s (id ; a low show 1 wethers making 27s to 29s ; medium 14s to 1 h : others as low as 11s fid. Prime c 1 is to 17s !
