The Imperial Cricket Council has referred a question of the revision of Law.o, relative to the protection and rolling of the wicket, to a special general meeting of the AI.C.C. The principle of an eight-ball over for Australia has been approved, and will also come before the AI.C.C. meeting. The Council agreed to send the English team to South Africa in the winter of 1922-23. A WEAK COMBINATION. INVITATION TO ENGLISHMEN CANCELLED. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. Hi. The New Zealand Cricket Council announces t' at negotiations with the AI.C.C. to send an English team to the Dominion next season have not proved successful.
