BESSIE IiOVE—WEDNESDAY
A lumber camp along the giant redwoods of California in full operation is shown in “The Little Boss”, Bessie Love’s newest picture. The 1 umber jacks are shown pulling down the big trees, sawing them, yarding them, and finally riding them where the water is white and a slip means death. “The Little Boss” is a swift moving romance of the big timber country, with a strong love interest and many comedy reliefs, as might be expected from a pic-
ture in which Bessie Love is the star. Bessie Love shows her rare versatility in “The Little Boss.” In this picture she changes from the rough and ready little backwoodsman, in the earlier scenes to the polished society girl, matching wits with a most experienced “man-hunter” for the love of the man she loves. As the little boss of a hig lumber outfit, Bessie performs- some stunts such as usually are tackled only by trained woodsmen. On Thursday Beaumont Smith’s special picture of New Zealand and Australia “The Betrayer.”

DOROTHY OTSTI-TO-NIGHT
Mr McLean presents this evening 'Dorothy Gish’s latest Paramount-Art-craft picture, “Little Miss Rebellion,” for laughing purposes only. Tt is the peppy story of a 20-year old Grand Duchess of a little “two-men-and-a dig” principality in Europe, who longed for the joys of freedom. It tells too of a revolution, a flight to American, a
“great, big beautiful love,” and a whole lieap of other startling incidents. “Little Miss Rebellion,” a bright and breezy comedy-drama of an unusual make up. This is one of the best that the clever little actress of the screen has vet dojne. Dorothy Gish has a
high reputation on tho screen, and this picture will no doubt help to keep her high in the estimation of movie fans. See this unusually clever production.
Another fine picture will he "Shocking Night” starring Eddie Lyons and Lee Moran, a picture worth going a long way to see. Included in flic Gazette, is .Tack Dempsey and Bill Miske in a sparring bout. Friday— "Tho Gift Secret.” a Universal special.
