AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CAULK ASSOCIATION. TENNIS TEAM HELD UP. (Received This Day at 9,10 a.m.) NFAV YORK, July 28. According to a Pittsburg telegram, railway officials advised by the immigration authorities, detained the AusIralian tennis team at, the border because they did not possess proper passports. A later message states the team wore released after being held for several hours at their hotel, and are proceeding to Pittsburg.
DAVIS CUP ROUND. LONDON, July 28. The Indinn-Japaneso round in the Davis Cup is fixed for 18th August, owing to the delay in ffie Indians’ departure.
