He was descending the hill on a bicycle and evidently lost control of tlie machine, resulting in his being thrOWli against the fence in Fitzherbert St. AsSisC ance was soon to hand and on Dr Baird
being summoned it was found that Mr Finch * was suffering from a dislocated shoulder, a lacerated jaw and minor bruises and cuts. Ho was immediately conveyed to the Westland Hospital where lie whs made as comfortable as possible.
