GREAT FLOOD DAMAGE. SYDNEY, July 27
The receding flood waters in tbe northern rivers have left a trial of desolation. It is estimated that the losses along the Tweed river alone, including large numbers of cattle and pigs amount to £250,000 sterling. The town of Kempsey was swept by flood waters, and the damage amounts to £25,000. Floods in north-western waters continue to rise from the town of Bourko south, and other townships arc threatened with inundation.
