FOOTBALL
TO-MORROW’S GAME. The foot hall match at Greymouth tonterrow afternoon, between the South African Springboks and tho combined Buller-West Coast team, should prove an attractive one. The visitors by their defeat of Wellington on Saturday have proved themselves a strong team, and it will be very interesting to watch their display on \ ietorin Bark. Mill) such a line heavy pack, who can play the open game and fast, clever backs their display should prove ol decided interest. It is staled that their handling and passing is first class, while the hacks run straight, and make good openings for the wings without crowding them to the side lines. Hie telegraphed account of the Wellington match shows the. team are most versatile, and that their opponents have a big job in front of them to keep them oil' their goal line. The Coast team is fairly heavy, though a long way below the weights of the visitors and the forwards will have to use their strength all the time to hold the opposing vanguard. The Coast hacks are a sturdy lot, hut they will have their defence fully extended and woe betide them if tbe re is any shirking of Hie proper tackle. Alan for man, and every man a man is the only way to stop an opposing passing rush, and one weak link in the chain will prove tho undoing. The game should prove most interesting, and much interest will be shown in the play especially if tho visitors are extended sufficiently to make them use their full strength and cleverness to hold their opponent's.
