ARAHURA'FAT STOCK SALE
The usual fortnightly fixture of fat stock took place yesterday at Arahura, when 71 head of cattle were submitted to public competition, 24 of which were bullocks, the balance being cows and heifers. As was the case at the previous sale there was far too much ol the latter class on offer. Competition was fairly keen throughout the sale hut. there was no marked improvement in prices compared with late ruling rates.

On account Mr N. Friend, 1 bullock at £lB 15s, 2 at £l3 10s, 1 at £l3, 2 at £l2 10s, 2 at 611 17s (id, 2 at £ll- 7s 6d, 1 f ;lt cow at £l3 ss, 1 at £9 10s, 2 heifers at £8 10s, 2 at £7 10s, 2 at £6, 2 at £o 10s. At the i’-ovo yards yesterday our entry consisted of 15 fat cattle, competition for which was keen at prices slightly in advance of those ruling at recent sales.
We sold on account of Mr 11. 1). Adamson, 2 bullocks at £lO 17s fid, 3 at £9 17s fid; on account of Mr W. R. Adamson 2 heifers at £8 7s fid, 1 at £lO 15s, 1 at C 7 17s fid, 2 at £9, 2s fid, 2 at £9 10s, 2 at £8 10s; on account of clients (privately) 30 fat wethers at 265, 08 fat slice]) at 2(is 3d.
