LONDON, July 21. Robinson and Waddington were the first bowlers. Bardsley was caught close up at 12. .Collins and Macartney scorfed ‘with some freedom. Macartney at first took his time and then made some delightful strokes, both off drives and cuts, but after 40 minutes was caught at the wickets. Ibe total was then 80 for 3, and this was the limit of the Australians success. Wilson and Rhodes came on and tile lattei rattled out three men in quick succession, Taylor alone being able to keep his wicket up.
