POLLARD’S PJCTURES. “ALF’S BUTTON” TO-NIGHT To-night tlic great English Comedy Masterpiece, ‘‘Alf’s Button” the companion picture to “The Better ‘Ole” will ho presented at the Princess Theatre by the International attractions by arrangement with Pollard’s Pictures. OPERA HOUSE— I TO-NIGHT
To-night at the Opera House the Peoples’ Pictures present a fine double programme. The first star shows “Flames of the Flesh,” the 'William Fox production featuring Gladys Brock well. The amazing thing about this photplay is its unusually strong appeal to persons of every age and station in life. It shows the miracle of a lost soul reclaimed by love. The cast includes William Scott, Ben Dce]v, Charles K. French, Louis Fitzroy. Harry Sningler, Nigel de Bi ullier, Mme. Rosita Marstin© and Josephine Crowel. The story is by Forrest Halsey, while Edward J. le Saint directed tlic production. The other star is “The Square Shooter,’” a photoplay filled with pep. punch, humor and thrills, featuring Buck Jones and presented by William Fox. ft is the dramatization of ft breezy story of life on a large rattle ranch in the west, and the many amusing incidents that occur in connection with a case of mixed identity. This makes it appear that the ranch owner’s son, a timid city-bred youth, is a. dangerous character, and that a real dyed-in- the wool cowpuncher F the rancher’s son and heir. Buck Jones, that splendid cow-boy soldier, in this stirring photoplay shows tlio stuff lie is made of. The stunts he pulls off on horseback are hair raising. Fine bits of comedy are introduced by pretty Barbara. Hampton portrayed by Patsoy Ho Forest. Others in the cast are Frederick Starr. Ernest Shields," Tain TofT, Charles K. French, Al Fremont, Edwin Booth Tilton, Charles Force and Orpha Alba. Denison Cliß wrote the story and Paul Cazeneuve was the director.
