(Deceived This Day at !).40 a.m.) LONDON, July 19. A meeting yesterday of the Committee, appointed by Hon W. F. Massey’s Conference between the New Zea-" laml 1 >j. d aers and Shipowners, exhaustively reviewed the position of shipments and freights generally from both l>oints of view. It was agreed the ques- , tions of freights and cargoes be again considered by New Zealand producers, not later than the first week of next January. Shipowners expressed their readiness to give every consideration to the position then, irrespective of existing contracts and with reference to such reduction in working cost of steam ers ns may then have taken place. It also agreed that negotiations in regard to the renewal to current contracts will take place at the same time.
