Charles Norman Rossiter, 19 years old, a New Zealander, pleaded guilty at, the sessions of the Court with attempting to obtain £250 from an Indian herbalist by means of threats. He was remanded to enable arrangements to he made to ship him back to New Zealand. It was stated that Rossiter, who ]K)secl as a doctor in Sydney, joined a theatrical company in Wellington.
