At Toronto, Peach and Todd won the Canadian open doubles championship, defeating Rennet and Holmes (Winnipeg) 6—4. 6—7, 7—5, 6—4. The game was keenly contested and play fairly oven until the last two sets, when the Australians got the upper hand. Todd was in particularly good form. Rennett and Holmes have been chosen to rep; sent Canada in the Davis Cup matches.
