ENGLISH PRESS COMMENT
LONDON, July 18.
The ‘‘Morning Post” (Unionist) bitterly condemns the negotiations with Mr tie Valera. The paper describes him as the “head of p murder gang.” and states: “The Downing Street authorities are less optimistic as time goes on. Regarding the main difficulty. Mr de Valera is very vague. He *has sea, relv given up anything, ii he gives way too much he may become the victim of his gunmen. Self-determina-tion in his month means supremacy of Dublin over Ulster. Negotiations will be very prolonged.” The “Post” suggests the danger of Mr Lloyd George betraying Ulster.
