COAL TROUBLE SETTLED.
THE SETTLEMENT. AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. LONDON, June 30. The miners of the Lancashire and Cheshire and Bristol districts have rejected the terms for a settlement of the coal dispute to which the Miners’ Federation Executive has acceded. The miners of Staffordshire, Worcestershire ,South Wales, and Leicestershire have accepted the settlement, although in several instances their meet ings have denounced th e Executive for flouting the recent ballot and accepting the owners’ terms. ,
