THE HENLEY REGATTA. AUSTKAIjIAN and N.Z. cable association. LONDON, June 29. The Henley Regatta opened most brilliantly, the wind favouring rowers. There is' very little stream, owing to the drought Playford ande J. A. Campbell, an Australian, representing Jesus College. Cambridge won their heat in the Wvfonl Cup in 455 seconds, heating the record by five seconds. The Christiania crew (Norway) won its heat in the Thames Cup m 429 seconds heating the record by a second. LONDON, July 1. Gollan, a New Zealander won his he 5 in the Diamond Sculls at Henley.
