At the West Coast Rugby meeting last evening it was decided to accept Bullet' Union’s proposal to play the first rep. match at Westport on .fitly 16th. and that a,U other arrangements re Marlborough and a return match with puller be hold in abeyance meantime, till a representative of this Union confer with Boiler Union on July 16th. It was resolved that this Union challenge for the Scddon Shield on July Ist. and suggest August 6th. ns the date foi* the match. It was decided to give the Fourth Grade teams permission to play a rep game at Hokitika, provided the manager appointed had the Union’s approval. Tt was decided that the contests for the MeKeclinie Cup 1k» played in two rounds, the teams nominated being the Stars. Marist and United Seniors. Tt was resolved that the Grey v. Tnangahua match on July Jrd at Reefton be a Dittman Shield match, the shield to be forwarded to-day. T. MoTntosh was appointed captain of the Grey Reps, and Air J. Heffemnn manager. * The following team was selected U> represent Grey against Reefton on Jul v 3rd : —Goodall, King. Brosnahan, O’Callaghan, Nelson. Ryan. Walton. T. MeTntosh,-Bowman, Deere, Mou itl. Hall. E. King. Mr.Broarty. AleEnaney. Emergency Wallis Tt was decided only to take one emergency. Every member of the Kiwi Football Club must be on Cass Square on Thursday night at 7 o’clock sharp for practice.
