Herbert liourke writing to the “Sunday Times” protests against Hie Lycett match not being stopped. Ii is stated lie was suffering from a touch of sunstroke and may have been plucky, buthad to be nursed by a constant sponging of the head which was unfair to Shimidzn. Towards the end there were fiequent cries from seetators of “Play and “Get on with-it.” If Shimidzu had been beaten probably there would have been ns ugly scene.
