POLLARD’S PICTURES. On Wednesday Pollards are screening a romantic drama of (secret service set in rural England entitled “Love in a Hurry.” it presents Evelyn Greenloy and Carlyle Blackwell, two popular stars wlio have achieved many successes under the "World Banner. The story is a romantic drama laid in England, and the presentation is enhanced by lovely rural scenes of fields, forest and streams. .Plenty of action and love interest are provided, and the interest is sustained by the fact that the hero, although presumed to be a spy, is actually on a mission of secrecy to help the English Government. George MeQuarrie is responsible for some finely thought out work in the nature of a satire on the usual pompous. opinionated chief constable of an English village, and provides most of the humor of the story. On Thursday Pollards are presenting a triple star programe. Elaine Hammerstein in “The Country Cousin” (from the noted stage success by Booth Tarkington and Julian Street, who established a human documents that would always live in tilt? mind and memory of the public, and a stage classic that has enjoyed one of the longest and most popular runs). The second big feature is entitled “Trixie from Broadway” starring Margarita Fisher, a Pa the Comedy Drama. The story of a eborus girl who built herself a icastle of dreams and woke up to find herself in it. The third attraetion features the popular William Duncan and Edith Johnston in the latest and l>est of serials “The Silent Avenger.”
