The Waihora . which arrived in port yesterday morning from Newcastle had nothing to report. All attempts to communicate with tbe Canastola by wireless have proved unsuccessful. SYDNEY, June 26. There is still no tidings of the Canastola, now thirteen days out on the voyage from Sydney to Wellington. WHAT WAIHORA REPORTS . WELLINGTON, June 26. The Union Coy’s Waihora reported Hint she had seen no signs of the Canastola. The collier is now a fortnight out. Captain Mawson stated that a vigilant watch was kept, without success. The Waihora came across Tasman Sen on a course northward of the usual route. She met westerly and southwesterly gales. The seas were running high throughout the passage. Tito conditions were favourable for the Cnnnstola to drift northward. The Canastola’s creiv are Chinese except the officers and engineers. The Captain, Andrew T.ockie joined tli'ei Canastola at New York four months ago. Some years ago he was an officer in the Union Coys, employ. Tic "belongs To Auckland and is 38 years of age. Ho is a brother to the chief engineer of the Union Coy’s cargo steamer Txekerangu. The Chief Officer of the Canastola, ATr Lang, was also formerly an officer in the Union Coy. During the war be served as a lieutenant in tbe Royal Navy Reserve.
