HOKITIKA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

FRIDAY, JUNE 24th. The Council met at 7.30 p.m. Present Messrs G. A. Perry (Mayor), Lloyd, McGregor, King, Perham, Parkhill and Coulson. Apologies were made for Messrs Ward, Pilkington and Blank. The minutes were confirmed and outward correspondence approvedINWARD CORRESPONDENCE.

From Overseas Club, asking acceptance of photograph of Corp. Frickleton, V.C., a large German shell for exhibition, as a war trophy, and a number of views of N.Z. Division in France.— Received and accepted with thanks. From D. J. Evans, asking acceptance of photograph of Anzac Landing and of General Russell’s Headquarters Stall of the N.Z. Division.—Received and accepted with thanks. , From Department of Public Health, forwarding copy of regulation affecting public health.—Received. From R. M. Aitken and Son, Auckland, in reference to wood piping and a orcein" to a reduction for damaged pfpes.—Received and accepted as satisfactory. „ , From Westland Hospital Board, notifying that the annual levy could be paid in twelve instead of nine payments.— Received. . .
