BOXING.
AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. I DEMPSEY AND CARPENTIER. (Received This Dny nt 0.4') a.ni.) | NEW YORK, June 22. ] Jack McAuliffe, the undefeated champion, who is observing Dempsey, says the champion’s most notable failing is that he burns out quickly. He needs a lot of wind for speed offence. He has no defence, which is wide open, and he can be hit by anyone fast enough to beat him. He knows nothing of boxing and has a very poor guard, which Carpentier will be able to hit over and under. Jersey City State Boxing Commission announced Harry Artie will referee at the Dempsey-Carpentier fight.
