ROME, June 16. Tho Italian Government has decided to hand over to a Consorzia of iron and steel workers the arsenals at Naples and Venice, and the arms factories in Agaccio, Dignova, Gardone, Val Euio-
pia, and Terni. The Consorzia corresponds with the British Labour Guilds, is controlled jointly by owners and workers. It aims at distributing profits to effective workers, and converting war-like establishments to production for peace time. Industrial machinery and railway material, and also th e construction of a number of steamers have been handed over. The Government is also arranging for the demolition of enemy ships,.and the transformation of warships into merchantmen. As a result of the agreement with the Oonsorzia the latter’s workmen have been increased in number from 7000 to 25,000, while the cooperative organisations under its control have been increased from 10 to 18
